Depositphotos deal and resources for writer
A great deal on images, plus valuable resources for writer
The Depositphotos deal is back and I just had to share! “Access millions of royalty-free stock assets using this content library. One-time payment. Lifetime deal. 100 one-time image/vector, video, or audio file credits from Depositphotos for only $39.”

Many indie authors use these images for book covers. They are also great for social media, etc. I've gotten flat lay backgrounds with Christmas items around the edges, or Southwestern backgrounds for my mystery novels, and used Canva to add my book cover. And of course you can use them for blogs if you need a picture of something particular. (I've shared recipes on blogs and used photos from there because I didn't remember to take them when I made an item.) It's affordable and safer than free sites where you can't be sure they really have the rights to share the photo.
The following image is a collection of book covers, social media posts with images and texts, and other images, as a sample of what can be done with Depositphotos.
Another valuable resource is Writer Beware, which has warnings of people and groups that try to scam authors, as well as agents and publishers with questionable practices. Check out her large list of resources for writers, including info on traditional pushing, self-publishing, contests and awards, and publishing news.
